Dear Colleague,

Over the next month we will be sending out a series of micro-surveys on issues of critical importance that we aim to address through contract negotiations. This week’s survey is focused on the career advancement process at UC. Can you take a couple minutes to fill out the survey now?

Previous surveys and discussions have clearly shown that improvements to the promotion process are needed, and resulted in numerous ideas. Collecting our experiences with career advancement in greater detail will help to drive the bargaining process by providing more context for a wide range of suggested improvements. Of course, winning improvements on any issue will only happen with participation and help from ARs across the state – please email us if you would like to get involved or would like to discuss career advancement in more detail.

And thank you in advance for taking a couple minutes to fill out the survey today!

In solidarity,

Academic Researchers United / UAW Local 5810 Bargaining Team
