Dear Colleague,

Our latest survey is focused on workplace equity. Can you take a few minutes to tell us about your experiences with harassment, bullying and discrimination at UC?

Academia’s incidence of harassment (58%) ranks second only to the military. Yet at our first bargaining session, UC admin questioned why Academic Researchers need strong discrimination protections. Please help show UC why strong discrimination protection and prevention mechanisms in our Academic Researcher union contract are essential, by telling us more about your experiences with workplace equity.

To discuss workplace equity at UC or any other matter in more detail, email arunited@academicresearchersunited.org. Also if you’ve not yet filled out the job security or career advancement survey, please check those out too! And to learn about bargaining and get more involved, please check out the ARU / UAW 5810 bargaining page

In solidarity,

Academic Researchers United / UAW 5810 Bargaining Team
