Eliminating the enforcement of "disparate impact" civil rights claims would take away an important tool for fighting discrimination. It's telling that the Justice Dept is trying to slip it in under the radar during final days of the Trump administration:

DHS RULE UPDATE: In Sept, UAW members stood together to oppose the DHS proposal to shorten F-&J- visa durations. Over 30K comments were submitted & DHS will unlikely have time to review them before Biden’s inauguration. We look forward to more positive immigration reforms this yr
